about me
Hi, my name is Katie Miller, and I'm currently a Social Media Seasonal Assistant at the Kansas City Chiefs. I recently earned my Master of Science in Public Relations on the Sports Media and Communications Track from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. I am also a proud University of Pittsburgh alum, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media Studies and Communications.

My passions include photography and videography, traveling, gluten-free food, reading, music, and of course, sports.
I fell in love with sports at a young age, first with ice hockey. I have been an avid hockey fan since I took my first breath, and knew the ins and outs of the game before I knew long division. My favorite part of any game was always the intro video, providing an electric atmosphere that made me fall in love with not only sports, but also content creation, in the first place. Whether it's through social media management or production, connecting fans to their favorite players is my favorite part of working in sports. My goal is to create content that turns another little girl into a lifelong fan, just like those early 2000s intro videos at the Civic Arena did to me.
